abstract mini canvases
Ok, so I’m getting close to my gallery opening, and working hard on finishing some big pieces and sketching ideas for a few more to put in the works- I’m getting busier and busier, and maybe sometime in the next year, I’ll be ready to be a full time artist!  Wouldn’t that be great?!
Since I’ve been working so hard to get some things finished, I haven’t had the chance to share any new pieces with you, so now seems like a good time to do my first giveaway!
I’m going to be putting a few of my mini canvases up for selection for one lucky winner- Here are the ones to choose from:
Each of these pieces reflects my own unique artistic style of mixed media work.  It’s been such a joy coming into my own as an artist, and each of these pieces has helped me do that.  I know you’ll love whichever one you choose!
To submit your name, simply leave a comment on this post.  If you follow my blog or like my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/TheFarPavilion you’ll have your name submitted an extra time to up your chances!  This giveaway is only open to those in the United States, but as I gain exposure and experience I’ll be working to expand my network through more countries and to more people, so keep sharing!
Whomever I draw will get to choose one of these mini canvases, easel included, a value of 40 dollars.  I’ll announce the winner on my blog this next Friday, July 12, which gives you one week to comment, follow or like to submit your name.
Once I select a winner, I’ll contact you for your shipping info, and send you your piece!  If the winner doesn’t respond within 10 days, I’ll select a new winner.
I’m looking forward to seeing who wins, and sharing some more of my larger canvases with you soon!

These are so much fun! I just love the texture you create; it makes the canvas come alive. I have to say, if I tried something like this with the rolled paper, it wouldn’t be pretty! Just makes me appreciate what you do even more.

Thanks so much for the wonderful giveaway,

Hi Anjuli! Your enthusiasm is exciting! The internet has brought about a great way for artists to connect and I so appreciate that. I really love how open you are and that you share your thought processes as well as your creations. That allows for such a stronger connection with others. Many share their art online but aren’t so brave to share their inner dialog and I am so glad that you do that.

The pieces above are each so different yet make a cohesive collection. The first one evokes a feeling of power to me. The second one reminds me of a lovely suggestion of autumn and the last collage with its’ blue and gold brings to mind a beautiful lapis lazuli. That isn’t surprising since I often use the colors of gemstones for various palettes in my art. I think you did a wonderful job with texture on each piece.

    Thanks for a fun giveaway!
