I was a little floored this afternoon to find some videos about some of my pieces on youtube.
I’ll be working with a new online art auction called Skaptart. Their website isn’t live yet- last I heard a few hours ago they were done with the design, and were testing everything. They do have a facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/skaptart , and a google+ profile https://plus.google.com/u/0/102863920576797796954/posts , and I’ll show you their website as soon as it’s up and running.
For some reason, watching myself and listening to my voice on as well known a forum as youtube, and knowing I wasn’t the one who put myself there, was pretty exciting and terrifying at the same time. Each time I come up to some new hurdle or milestone, I don’t feel ready. But here’s some advice I learned recently- successful people are the ones who start before they are ready.
Anjuli, the church has an annual art competition and winning pieces are published in the Ensign. This piece is really beautiful, and your explanation of its symbolism just makes it even more beautiful! I think you should enter it. :-)
I’ve looked at the art competition, but I thought the next one was in 2015. Did I miss it somewhere? I’d love to see if they have one for this year…
