Getting ready

I’ve done it!  I’ve hung my first collection of art in a gallery!

Please forgive my bedraggled appearance- what a crazy  busy, exciting day.  It didn’t take me too long to setup the gallery, but getting things ready for a visit from my mother-in-law was a different story.  :)

I was nervous about the space- this is a fairly large room, and some of my pieces are quite small.  I wasn’t sure how they were going to fit, but it actually worked out perfectly.  I was able to find a space for each one, and it looks organized and deliberate.  The only thing I’m missing are my business cards.  I need to find a wall holder and take some over super quick, before I miss some potential clients.

So, if you are anywhere near Raleigh, NC this Friday, come to Blake St. Studios downtown and check out my gallery.  You’ll get to see my pieces up close and in person, as well as the many other fabulous artists that are here.  Don’t forget to introduce yourself, though.  :)
