I just got back from a week at the Outer Banks celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. Were spread out all over the country- North Carolina, Florida, West Virginia, Idaho, and Utah. I have one sister in Arizona who couldn’t make it because of her full time missionary work, but other than that, we were all together for the first time in a year. Even once a year is pretty good for all of us being able to get together.
We decided that we would bring our Christmas presents to exchange there, instead of mailing them to each other like we would normally do. I had one of my sisters for our gift exchange this year, and she requested one of my paintings in her wedding colors- peach and lavender. (She got married last April.) She saw it early- I had to pull it out to finish it this week, and she couldn’t keep her sneaky eyes to herself. :)
I like having three panels next to each other because it acts like a large painting while at the same time giving a wide range of hanging options. Plus it’s fun to do different things with each canvas. :)
I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving, and are as excited for the rest of the holiday season, as I am!!
I really like this and the panel effect is spectacular. Nice work Anjuli.
