I had a lot of fun creating the layout for this week. I used the same paper line as last time- Prima’s Archivist collection. It works so perfectly for these types of photos and memories.
I used several layers of various papers under the photos, including vellum and walnut ink stained paper that I stamped with versamark. Some Tim Holtz tissue tape, some modeling paste over a clock stencil, and a few metal embellishments, and I couldn’t be happier with how this layout looks.
I love taking these sketches and letting them lead me to different ideas and designs. There are many times when it really helps to have a guide through the entire process.
Head on over to Let’s Scrap and check out what the rest of the team has done with the sketch. Play along with us for a chance to win some cool prizes. Our sponsor this week is Craft Classes Online, and they are offering the winner of our challenge a free workshop! I hope to see your sketch up on the blog soon.
